Our company was incorporated in England in February 2003 by a group of friends who had been producing independent arts and media projects together since the mid 1990's. Our team has created documentary, feature and short film, art, photography, comics, books, magazines, websites, theatre, graphic design, club nights and music; often receiving critical acclaim, awards and international recognition.
We operate under a number of identities focused on key creative industry sectors, you can find full details of each of these on the dedicated websites linked below;

Company Management
Coffee Arts and Media is privately owned by fourteen close friends who have been instrumental in building it from an indie filmmaking collective into it's current form, and who have continued to support and develop it since. We are wholly independent and operate under a simple and adaptable structure managed and administrated by three of the owners;
Steve Piper
Vanda Rapti
Gelli Graham
Charities The company supports several charities and causes through it's individual projects, with a particular focus on arts, conservation and the natural world, you can also click here to read our environment and wildlife policy. Coffee Films helps pay for the care of a beautiful tiger living in a Born Free home in India and our natural world documentaries all set aside profit shares for organisations working in each specific area; such as the forthcoming Scottish Wildcat DVD which will donate 50% of profits to the Scottish Wildcat Association, we've also been providing DVD authoring advice and support for the wonderful Captive Animals Protection Society. Emerging film talent has been supported through our website since 1999 providing free feedback, industry links and executive production support and head of film Steve Piper also gives talks to university students on the industry and is a member of the BBC Film Network industry panel advising new filmmaking talent. Coffee Artists helps Born Free to pay for healthcare and rabies innoculations for a pack of endangered Ethiopian wolves. Unsigned and emerging music talent is welcomed through our website and given free feedback and advice; we arrange for established artists to supply free performances or publicity support for charities including ChildLine, Jason Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust and Demelza House Children's Hospice. Coffee Design maintains, hosts and markets a website and Myspace free of charge for Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone RSPCA, The Scottish Wildcat Association, and markets a Myspace for The Campaign Against Canned Hunting.
The entire company is working towards eco-friendly status, we encourage recycling, energy
conservation and use of public transport to all of our employees, freelancers, clients and contacts and always strive to afford the most environmentally friendly solution to any problem. We also support animal welfare and are opposed to animal testing; we recommend the Cruelty Free Shopping Guide published by SHAC in Acrobat PDF format (free reader available here)
